Ephesians 6:16 – “Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. “
The devil fights with words. That has been his method from the beginning. Fiery darts therefore represent the words of condemnation and negativity of the devil against our minds. When things happen or circumstances arise that tend to stir fear against you, affirm the Word.
If it’s the fear of lack that’s trying to get a hold of you, declare boldly, “The Lord supplies my needs; I’m plugged to His eternal and unfailing supply.” If, for instance, you’re in a dark or lonely place and you hear some strange sound, be unmoved; rather, declare, “greater is He that’s in me, than he that’s in the world!” Hallelujah!
Remember who you are in Christ, a child of God. You live in this world yet you are governed from heaven. You do not live by the wisdom of this world but by the wisdom of God that is foolishness to men who lack insight and understanding. You use human languages to communicate spiritual realities in Christ Jesus.
Refuse to be intimidated in this life, for you’re strong in the grace that’s in Christ Jesus. Fear has lost its power over you, for “He that is born of God overcomes the world, even our Faith.”. The Word of God has taken full possession and expression in, and through your spirit, cast it in your soul and act the word through your body. You win always.
