Acts 9:11 – “So the Lord said to him, “Arise and go to the street called Straight, and inquire at the house of Judas for one called Saul of Tarsus, for behold, he is praying.”
Our God not only hears prayer but also loves to hear it. He does not forget the cry of the humble. True, He does not regard high looks and lofty words; He has no regard for the pomp and pageantry of kings; He does not listen to the drums of war; He does not regard the triumph and pride of man.
But wherever there is a heart enlarged with accurate precise knowledge of the Christ and a lip quivering with agony or a deep groan or a penitential sigh, the heart of Jehovah is open. He marks it down in the registry of His memory; our very hearts in which the Holy Spirit, the fullness of God now dwell, springs forth all divine help and angelic interventions.
The Apostle Paul did not need to become a mature believer for his prayers to be answered. Right at conversion his prayer was answered. In the free grace of redemption, the newest, as well as the oldest saint have free access without restrictions. He will do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or imagine according to the power that is at work in us.
It’s a brand new day! Keep enjoying Kharis!
