Isaiah 54:17 – “And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, And their righteousness is from Me,”
“No weapon formed against us shall prosper”. Now these weapons are not physical weapons. The weapon of the enemy against the believer is condemnation, and these attacks of condemnation are formed against our minds.
It is the devil’s tongue that rises against us in our minds. And the defense God has given us against these attacks is His righteousness, The believer before God is not seen in his faulty and imperfect righteousness but is seen in the perfect righteousness of God.
Because this is our permanent identity, every voice of condemnation in our minds must be toppled by this fact that God no longer sees our sin, He sees His righteousness when He looks at us. We must make this decision to stand firm in this righteousness and not let our minds be played with.
